Arts & Architecture Program - Courses
There are three different types of courses in the Arts & Architecture
program.
- Core courses (12 weeks in length – 42 lecture hours –
3 credits)
- Elective courses (6 weeks in length – 28 lecture hours
– 2 credits)
- Elective courses (3 weeks in length – 14 lecture hours
– 1 credit)
Core Courses
All 12-week core courses meet twice a week for 90 minutes. Additional
course hours are spent outside of the classroom at lectures, field
trips, and walking city tours.

6-week Elective Courses
All 6-week elective courses meet twice a week for 2 hours. Additional
course hours are spent outside of the classroom at lectures, field
trips, and walking city tours.
